This year there will be the 1st Advent calendar of the Department of Geotechnics. Throughout December, get to know the Freiberg Geotechnical Society (VFG e.V.), the German Geotechnical Society and numerous geotechnical companies and solve exciting tasks from the Chairs of Engineering Geology, Soil Mechanics and Rock Mechanics, which will show you the actual technical links that exist at Christmas time. A geotechnical excursion with BIUG, CDM Smith or Dr Spang awaits the 3 people who collect the most points through the tasks. You can stay up to date by subscribing to the "Advent calendar" folder in the OPAL course "Geotechnics - up to date", in which the latest door is uploaded daily. At the same time, you will always find the latest doors on the institute's homepage and on our Christmas tree in front of lecture theatre HHB-1035.
